The Extras is a modern take on a classic boarding school story, a slice-of-life comedy / fantasy about the everyday adventures of growing up. Located in the City, the School of Saints Java and Hellbender is as much a character in the story as the girls from almost everywhere who live and learn there, and just as full of secrets.

An epilogue and "meanwhile" page. There are a couple of "firsts" with this page:
-This is the first page featuring art by both Katie and Pam on the same page. Pam drew the cutout, Katie shopped it in.
-This is the first page drawn by Katie to not feature any of the main cast (unless you count a cardboard cutout of Shelby as an appearance.) We Meet Again by Moonlight, which kicked off Book 3, featured none of the girls but did include Flit, and was drawn by Pam.

Baumann and Feazell are our nod of appreciation to long-time minicomic greats Suzanne Baumann and Matt Feazell, both from the great enclave city of Hamtramck and my comic buddies for decades.

You know, Shelby, if you just would have skipped out, no one would have probably noticed. Your attempts at subterfuge have now generated suspicion.
