The Extras is a modern take on a classic boarding school story, a slice-of-life comedy / fantasy about the everyday adventures of growing up. Located in the City, the School of Saints Java and Hellbender is as much a character in the story as the girls from almost everywhere who live and learn there, and just as full of secrets.

We were going to feature a regular page this week, but Katie had this great idea for a holiday scene, in color, and who are we to deny you all the wonder of a winter night at Sts. Java and Hellbender?

That's Isaac-Pierre the gargoyle from We Meet Again By Moonlight, and while the gals aren't aware of his animated nature yet, he's at least giving us a wink. Riley is chilling in the background. They really seem to enjoy it when the building is decorated nicely. We're guessing that the letter mugs might have been crafted by Shelby, who seems to be enjoying her horn of cider there. We swear there's no alcohol. Nita is being her perfectionist self with the arrangement and Chan is just sort of absorbing things. We're not sure where Patience got the antler hat, but it suits her.
